In conclusion, I suggest coming here if the place doesn't appear busy, as it will be a lot cleaner and make the most of your money. If you see that the bug station is dirty before you pull up to buy a wash, it's probably a sign that you won't have a good experience here.
My tires turned out very clean. Unfortunately the rest of my car didn't fair so well. My windshield, tailgate, & back window were still very dirty post-wash. I had driven back & forth to GA multiple times before going for a wash, so my car was fairly dirty. That's why I'll give Waterworx the benefit of the doubt. I hope my next experience is better. I do believe that if the drive thru wash was slower, it would be more effective.
And finally, vacuums here are very effective and powerful. However, if the place is busy try getting a vacuum station as close to the actual vaccuums as possible. The suction tends to weaken the farther away you are and the more customers using them at once.
First, team members only replace the bug prep station fluid once a week. Once I arrived and the entire station was full of filthy brown fluid. When I informed the idle team members, they merely told me they would replace it when they were scheduled to. I highly recommend using the bug prep before the wash for the front windshield, tires and grill before the wash as it can make a huge difference as to how clean your car looks. As long as you haven't chosen a busy week to visit, the prep work here is easy and clean.
This car wash provided a great quality wash! Free vacuum and washer fluid, also.
My biggest plus here are the vacuums. They are super powerful, which is great! I own two huskies and their fur gets stuck in the carpet. I LOVED the vacuums because it got all of the fur out.
I come here for the convenience of its location and the unlimited self-service features; these include the bug prep station before the wash and the unlimited vacuum, air and windshield washer fluid. However, while I continue to use this car wash regularly I'm always prepared for the occassional inconvenience.
Second, the dryer was really good at removing most of the water but there are always still residual suds and water at the back of my car. Just be prepared for a quick wipe down of these areas. After the wash I always pull around to the air and washer fluid station before I go to the vacuums.
Really not impressed this trip... my car wasn't all that dirty, just trying to get some road grime off. I even bought the most expensive wash, but still came out with the same road grime on my car! Plus only half of the vacuums were operational this day. I did a better job cleaning my car once i got back home. Feel like i wasted the money.
Overall Washworx is an inexpensive place to get a surface wash & take advantage of some super powerful vacuum cleaners. They also have a carpet mat cleaner and free air freshener/towel was a nice touch.
The staff is always friendly and the prices aren't that bad...
